Matron

Applications are invited from mature, suitably qualified and experienced persons for the post of Matron.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

a) To provide a motherly/ fatherly care to students so that they grow in a homey atmosphere where they learn to co-exist with their peers in a harmonious environment.
b) To supervise students making sure that they are punctual for meals and other school activities such as assemblies.
c) To supervise hostel workers and make sure they clean the toilets, corridors, window panes, floors, surroundings, etc., thoroughly well.
d) To counsel or advise or guide pupils on social, personal matters as they grow up and live in the company of others in the boarding school

REQUIREMENTS

a) Applicants must be holders of a nursing/ teaching qualification preferably for the secondary sector.
b) Must have worked with students preferably in a boarding environment.
c) Must have a strong Christian background supported by her current Church Minister.
d) Should not be under a charge hence police clearance must be availed.
e) A clean class 4 driver’s license with defensive would be an added advantage

QUALIFICATIONS

a) Must be a holder of at least an ‘0’ Level certificate with 5 subject passes.
b) Must be a holder of a nursing/ teaching professional qualification preferably with a counselling component.
c) A relevant degree would be an added advantage.
