HEAD TALENT AND ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill a vacancy that has arisen from one of our clients.

Main Duties

1. Designs implementation plans for Human Resources best practice projects.
2. Facilitates the design, compilation and approval of HR policies and Standard Operating procedures (SOPs).
3. Facilitates Business Process Re-engineering.
4. Liaises with Director in guiding Managers through the learning needs analysis process, offering support, advice and ideas for effectively meeting needs through structure competency profiling.
5. Develops implementation and monitoring of the Organisational Development plan and annual budget.
6. Works closely with the Heads of Department to ensure effective and on-going co-ordination, evaluation and updating of the Leadership and Management Development Programmes (Supervisory, Management and Executive Leadership Programmes).
7. Manages the development and implementation of learning evaluation procedures and analysis of feedback in order to effectively evaluate the impact of development activities at organisational, team and individual level (ROI of programs).
8. Institutes motivational programs which include job content structures, work environment, and reward aspects designed to differentiate staff on the basis of performance hence motivating a culture of performance.
9. Coordinates Job Evaluation exercise and grading for new and existing positions.
10. Participate in championing the Company performance management system through design, implementation, training and awareness and monitoring of a performance management system.
11. Carries out culture audits and climate surveys within the business to gauge the level of employee engagement to the mission, vision and values of the business.
12. Acts as the change agent in the Implementation of employee culture and climate OD interventions as well as implementation of outcomes of the same.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate should have a:

• Degree in Human Resource Management.
• IPMZ Diploma or a professional qualification in Organisational Development
• A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
• Corporate membership to a professional body
• At least 5 years relevant experience working with large scale projects e.g. restructuring at managerial level.
