Business Development Officer

The Methodist Church in Zimbabwe is looking for a Business Development Officer to work in its relief agency department, the Methodist Development and Relief Agency (MeDR).

The job incumbent will be responsible for:

Fundraising and improving revenue streams; Managing a database of donors & funding partners, platforms, websites, newspapers, local, regional & international Networks; Registering the church on various development sector networks – locally, regionally & internationally; Identifying synergies & liaising with the Corporate World’s Corporate Social Responsibility sectors for partnerships.

Qualifications
A Degree in the Relevant Field (Social Sciences / Marketing / Business Management).

Experience

5 (Five) years’ experience with a clear track record in business development or any other related field; Knowledge of development trends and challenges; Proven marketing, networking and negotiating skills; Proven ability to develop and write grant proposals.
