Executive Assistant To Commissioner General
Manage the commissioner General’s Office functions to ensure that the Authority’s strategic and action plans films are achieved.
• Provide advice on the interpretation of all Authority’s policies, procedures and other matters to facilitate timely decision making,
• Monitor taxpayer queries and contacts and follow up all outstanding issues on behalf of the Commissioner General and maintain liaison with all stakeholders.
• Coordinate negotiation and implementation of bi-lateral tax and customs conventions.
• Research and prepare well-reasoned reports for the Commissioner General as a basis for decision making.
• Determine available international technical assistance resources.
• Oversee the development of a robust and proactive Corporate Communication strategy to improve the Image of the Authority.
• Manage and implement the Authority’s Communication Policy.
• Coordinate with development partners and other external agencies.
• Any other duties as assigned.
• Degree in Business Studies, or equivalent;
• Master’s Degree is an added advantage,
• Experience in a tax and/or Customs environment an added advantage;
• At least 10 years working experience of which 5 are at senior management Level,
• High level of analytical skills;
• Clean class four (4) driver, license.
