Key Responsibilities

  • Involves preventive and breakdown maintenance on kiln, ball mills, crushers, conveyors, bucket elevators and packers.
  • Fault finding and repair of hydraulics pneumatics, gearboxes, kiln tyres and rollers, girth gear drives and heavy-duty bearings.
  • Ensures precision alignment of motors, gearboxes, couplings and kiln drive systems using laser alignment tools.
  • Includes lubrication and condition monitoring.
  • Includes shutdown execution.
  • Requires ability to interpret equipment drawings and manuals in Mandarin.
  • Entails the ability to relate Chinese process standards to other international standards.

Requirements

  • Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • 10-year hands on experience working in the cement industry.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation is a prerequisite.
