Key Responsibilities
- Involves preventive and breakdown maintenance on kiln, ball mills, crushers, conveyors, bucket elevators and packers.
- Fault finding and repair of hydraulics pneumatics, gearboxes, kiln tyres and rollers, girth gear drives and heavy-duty bearings.
- Ensures precision alignment of motors, gearboxes, couplings and kiln drive systems using laser alignment tools.
- Includes lubrication and condition monitoring.
- Includes shutdown execution.
- Requires ability to interpret equipment drawings and manuals in Mandarin.
- Entails the ability to relate Chinese process standards to other international standards.
Requirements
- Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- 10-year hands on experience working in the cement industry.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation is a prerequisite.
