What do employers in Zimbabwe look for in a receptionist at a healthcare facility?
Employers value a professional appearance, good communication skills in English and local languages like Shona or Ndebele, and a calm, empathetic manner when dealing with patients. Punctuality, honesty, and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality are also highly important.
What benefits can I expect as a full-time receptionist in Zimbabwe?
Full-time roles often include paid annual leave, sick leave, and sometimes a basic medical aid contribution or pension scheme, though this varies by employer. Some private medical centres may also offer uniform allowances or overtime pay for weekend shifts.
