TRADE SERVICES & CLIENT ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR – Aatc

To support the effective delivery of client, stakeholder and trade facilitation services at the AATC, ensuring a premium experience for businesses, visitors and institutional partners. The role provides front-line client support while coordinating stakeholder engagement, events, operational monitoring, research and reporting across the Centre’s physical and digital service environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist visitors, businesses, institutional stakeholders and partners, responding professionally to enquiries and service requests.
  • Provide information, guidance and referrals to relevant AATC services, programmes, facilities and ecosystem partners.
  • Support trade facilitation activities, Business Advisory Clinics, trade webinars and stakeholder engagement programmes.
  • Assist in planning and delivering meetings, conferences, exhibitions, webinars and trade-related events.
  • Coordinate event logistics, hospitality requirements, visitor registration and related service arrangements.
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with internal teams, tenants, ecosystem partners, service providers and external stakeholders.
  • Monitors visitor footfall, trade enquiries, referrals and utilisation of Trade Centre services.
  • Maintains accurate operational records and prepares timely performance reports for management.
  • Conducts research and provides insights to support operational decision-making and service improvement.
  • Supports the promotion of AATC’s physical and digital services, programmes and facilities.
  • Promotes sustainability and contributes to maintaining a professional, welcoming and efficient Trade Centre environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in customer service, client relationship management, administration, trade facilitation, hospitality, events or business support.
  • Experience working with businesses, SMEs, tenant organisations, corporates or institutional stakeholders is an advantage.
  • Exposure to international trade, trade facilitation or business development is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating events, conferences, meetings or stakeholder programmes is desirable.
  • Strong customer service, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent organisational, research, analytical and reporting abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant digital tools.
  • Professional presentation, discretion, integrity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and passion for African trade, business development and exceptional client experiences.
