Key Responsibilities
- 1. HEAD ELECTRICIAN Key Result Areas:
- Produce specifications and designs of new Public Lighting, Traffic Signals and Municipal Electrical infrastructure and modifications.
- Design, selection and installation of all electrical plant and equipment such as power transformers, power generators, motors and motor control centers, refrigeration units and air-conditioners, building lighting, heating and ventilation systems.
- Design and installation of new public lighting schemes.
- Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus
- Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications
- Ordering of electrical supplies and equipment
- Repairing electrical faults at all Municipal Installations
- Supervising subordinate employees
- Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

- Skilled Worker Class 1 and Electrical Engineering Certificate.
- A clean class 4 or 3 driver’s license.
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience.
- Clean criminal record.
