Chief Executive Officer

Description :

The CEO is responsible for overall performance of  the company, as dictated by the board’s overall strategy.He or she reports to the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The Roll:

The CEO will be responsible for the overall operation and management of the company.S/he will sent the company’s overall strategic directions  and priorities, and monitor the performance of the company as well as  guiding, directing  and leading the Executive Management Team.

Major duties and responsibilities.

• Providing the linkage between the Board of Directors and the Executive Management Team, and providing adequate information to carry out their responsibilities.
• Provide guidance, advice , direction and authorization to the Executive Management Team to carry out major plans and procedures , consistent with established policies.

• Drive the company’s strategy implementation plan into life.
• Conduct a strategic review of performance o a regular basis to determine whether the company is meeting its short- and -long term terms objectives ( increase in profit, increase in market share, return on investment, etc)

• Develop, in coordination with the Executive Management Team , an integrated business plan that optimizes market share and profitability of existing or new activities.
• Act as the principal public relations officer of the company and represent the with major customers , government entities , the financial community and the public.

Qualifications required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Finance or its equivalent.
• Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.

• Professional qualifications such as CIS, ACCA will be an added advantage.
• 10 years extensive management  experience with 5 years at senior leadership level.

• Real Estate industry experience is an added advantage.
• Strong visionary with strong leadership qualities and an entrepreneurial strategic mind set.
• Strong interpersonal skills such as leadership, communication and persuasion.
