Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – ZINWA
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
The successful candidate must possess outstanding competencies, proven track record and skills in the following areas:
• Advise the Minister on water resources planning. management and development.
• Identify and manage the contingent risks of the Authority on water quality, pollution control and environmental protection.
• Consult with the Board to ensure equitable, efficient and sustainable allocation and distribution of water resource; and ways to mitigate against misuse and pollution
• Formulate and execute strategies to promote an equitable, efficient and sustainable allocation and distribution of water resources.
• Establish and implement frameworks to ensure
compliance with corporate governance standards.
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, working closely and effectively with the parent ministry and relevant government departments.
relevant stakeholders in the water sector to achieve a robust and efficient water delivery system.
• Ensure efficient and effective financial management of the Authority to ensure that it remains financially sound.
• Ensure effective management of staff performance, motivation and skills development.

QUALIFICATIONS& EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent
• Post Qualification is an added advantage
• A minimum of 10 years post qualifying experience in a senior management role
• Be a registered member of a relevant professional body
