BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INTERN
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated, well-groomed and upright recent graduate or student graduating in 2019 with a National Diploma or seeking a degree in one of the following or related Commercial majors listed below from an accredited university:
- Marketing Management;
- Business Administration; and
- Tourism and Hospitality Management.
What you can expect in this role
The chosen intern will be working on a number of Business Administration and Management activities:
- Analyze current client base, including portfolios and service provider profiles, to identify potential sales opportunities;
- Build strong relationships with customers, outside business contacts, and company stakeholders;
- Review and communicate proposals and cost estimates to customers and stakeholders
- Negotiate timelines and budgets;
- Negotiate client contracts, and Job orders;
- Vetting and profiling Prospective Service Providers;
- Develop and test unique business strategies and concepts;
- Collaborate with colleagues and peers on the sales, marketing, and product development teams to improve overall customer experience and satisfaction;
- Stay up to date on company best practices, policies, products, pricing, and promotions;
- Increase overall sales efficiency and profitability through excellent salesmanship; and
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with Marketing, Business Management, Entrepreneurship or related equivalent Commercials through the University/College or other Intern Work
- Computer skills and familiarity with relevant software, such as Microsoft Office Suite and Internet Technologies;
- Digital Marketing Skills and/or Qualification;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written);
- Critical thinking skills, Analytical, Organized and Well Groomed;
- Creatively-minded;
- Skills of Persuasion and Good at closing deals;
- Ability and willingness to learn; and
- Positive Attitude, Optimistic and Self Motivated.
