We are looking for vibrant and trailblazing individuals to join our team in the following role(s):Bookkeeper (Expenditure) APWCS

Reporting to the Assistant Accountant (Expenditure), the successful candidate will check and verify correctness of all payment vouchers and also perform reconciliations for warrants, the APWCS foreign accounts and its warrants.

Key Outputs
 Checking and Certifying the correctness of all payment vouchers
 Signing of RTGS forms and performing the approval function on electronic payment platforms such as PAYNET, ECOCASH, TELECASH and ONE WALLET.
 Request money from Finance for payment of pensions.
 Perform the Payment and Payroll reconciliation of the following MOP’s: Zimpost Warrants, PAYNET File (all banks), ECOCASH, ONE WALLET and TELECASH
 Ensuring timely recovery of uncashed warrant refunds and handling queries relating to warrants.
 Checking and Certifying the correctness of the Petty Cash Book Entries
 Checking and Certifying the correctness of the Sub-Collector Schedule.

Qualifying Requirements
 A National Diploma in Accounting plus part professional qualification such as CIS, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
 3-5 years’ experience in an accounting environment.
