A position of an accounts clerk befitting an innovative knowledgeable
highly efficient person has arisen in a medical supplies company.

EMPLOYEE’S DUTIES:
– The Accounts Clerk is responsible for providing data entry, data
analysis and report writing to ensure that Company services are provided
in an effective and efficient manner.
– The Accounts clerk reports to the marketing manager and is expected to
assist in office and clerical work.
– The same should be prepared to work in a Christian environment with
sensitivity to dressing.

• Main Activities
Job Description:
– The Accounts Clerk performs a variety of general accounting support
tasks in the company and its subsidiaries/projects including:
– Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or
records.
– Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records
detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense
vouchers, receipts, accounts payable).
– Enters data into computer system using defined computer programs
(QuickBooks)
– Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.
– Reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or
external vendors or customers.
– Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.
– Investigates questionable data.
Remuneration: Gross starting salary of $500-00.
To ensure the company gets a performer, the initial contract will run for
a year and may be renewed based on performance and relevance of the post
in the organisation.
Qualifications:
– An accounting degree and/or professional qualification
– Highly proficient in QuickBooks
– Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
– Organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must.
– Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset.
