Treasury Dealer Position x2

Reports to Head of Treasury and the duties and responsibilities include:

• Ensuring that all the bank’s branches and accounts are adequately funded to meet day to day liquidity needs.
• Preparing the bank’s liquidity gap report and identifies any liquidity gaps in different periods and take appropriate action.

• Monitoring daily the bank’s liquidity ratios and trends against market conditions
• Preparing management reposts such Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) reports.
• Mobilizing deposits and placing of excess funds using various treasury products on a continuous basis.
• Determining the pricing and costing of deposits and placements daily in line with market conditions.
• Tendering for and trading financial instruments and government paper such as treasury bills, treasury bonds and gilt-edged securities.

• Monitoring all risks emanating from treasury activities
• Setting exchange rates for buying and selling various currencies daily.
• Monitoring all foreign exchange risk and advises on the levels of the bank’s foreign exchange exposures
• Maintaining good relationships with all the bank’s stakeholder such as customers, bankers, RBZ, institutional investors and internal staff.
• Preparing and circulating treasury business conditions to all internal and external clients on the treasury mailing list daily.
• Providing market indicators based on economic and other variables for treasury and the bank’s annual budget formulation process

Qualifications and Experience

• At least a degree in a Finance and Business related field,
• IOBZ qualification and ACI Treasury Certificate is an added advantage
• At least Two (2) years’ experience In Treasury Money and Forex Dealing
