Suitably qualified, experienced and motivated candidates are invited to apply for the position of System Integration Specialist, which has arisen in Technology Services Department.

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Enterprise Architect Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following, among others:

Leading the integration of core systems (T24, Digital Banking System, Postilion) to peripheral systems (MNOs, Vendors, Billers) using standards like RTGS, SWIFT, ISO 8583.
Monitoring APIs for all core systems in the bank supporting standards like SOAP and the REST architectural style.
Delivering Enterprise applications code which is well tested and consistently error free.
Working with the Software Systems’ developers to build robust APIs and integrate to Third Party Systems.
Training technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholder
Contributing regularly to discussions regarding internal process and system improvements in order to ensure maximum efficiency across the Bank.
Providing Software Development expertise when writing and reviewing mobile apps code.
Ensuring all documentation for all systems are available and that Systems and Applications comply with regulatory bodies such as RBZ, PCI, ZimSwitch.
Ensuring tight security on all delivered APIs, reviewing APIs and making sure that security standards are implemented.

Skills and Experience

Excellent coding skills in Java, C++ and/or Python.
At least 3 years’ experience in similar position.
Understanding of CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment).
Experience with AWC/EC2, or other cloud services.
Proficiency in Restful web services and soap services.

Educational Qualifications

Honors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Equivalent.
