Revenue Officer – ZINWA

Job Summary

The Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) is Inviting applications from suitably qualified, mature, honest and substantially experienced persons for appointment to the above challenging positions which have arisen In the Organization.

The applicant will be based at Harare Service Centre in Harare.

Duties And Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Overseeing the billing process and ensuring timeous production of bills.
it ii. Coordinating the implementation of the agreed revenue collection strategies.
iii. Arranges and monitors the fulfilment of the payment plans by clients in the Service Centre.
iv. Exercising the credit control function for the Service Centre in line with the Authority’s policies, processes and procedures.
v. Overseeing the timely reading of consumer meters for the Service Centre.
vi. Gathering and consolidating credit control data for the Service Centre.

Qualifications And Experience

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
i. Degree in Accounting or equivalent
ii. Credit Management Qualification an added advantage
iii. At least three years working in a similar environment
iv. Must be computer literate, honest and capable to work under minimum supervision and
v. must possess excellent communications and collaborative skills
