Key Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor investment settlements and operational transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Perform daily reconciliations across client portfolios, bank accounts and investment records.
- Support asset management and treasury operations, including trade processing and cash management.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and settlement exceptions in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate operational records and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with custodians, banks, brokers and other key stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes, systems and service delivery.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Prepare and maintain reports and provide timely operational insights to management.
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism and integrity in all operations.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- Proven experience in asset management operations, treasury operations, or investment back-office operations.
- Strong expertise in reconciliations, settlements and investment operations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and resolve complex issues.
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems is an added advantage.
