Job Title:

NON-EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS – CENTRAL GOVERNMENT MINISTRIES

Role Purpose:

To enhance compliance with the Public Finance Management Act [Chapter 22:19]. Non-Executive Board Members will provide independent assurance and advice on governance, risk management, internal controls, compliance, and financial reporting, thereby strengthening transparency and accountability across Ministries.

Requirements:

Applicants should have:

• A degree in either Accounting, Finance, Internal Auditing, Risk Management, Economics, Information Technology, Public Administration, Strategic Management and Corporate Governance, Commercial Law or equivalent.
• Relevant Master’s degree.
• Professional qualification in the relevant fields.
• Membership to a relevant professional body where applicable.
• At least 5 years’ experience at executive, senior management, or board level.
• High integrity, objectivity, and strong analytical and communication skills.
