Responsible for:

1. Infrastructure: Proactively developing, supporting and strategically managing the ICT infrastructure environment including wide area and local area networks, servers, desktops/laptops and operating systems
2. Security: Ensuring quality and security of organizational data and information by measuring, monitoring and reviewing the performance of the IT function so that value gets delivered and IT risks are managed while ensuring strategic alignment of IT with business.

Duties and Responsibilities of the position include:

• Configuration of cisco devices.
• Linux and Windows Server Administration
• Designing best practices for backups for the whole infrastructure
• Assists in preparing ICT budget and 3rd party supplier management
• Monitors and regulates the use of ICT resources that ensures data and information systems are protected from destruction, unauthorized access or modification and accidental disclosure
• Ensure network and systems’ security at all times
• Setup Security policies,
• Disaster recovery and Business continuity plans
• Develops and implements an information security training and awareness programs to minimize non-compliance to policies

Qualifications and Experience 
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Equivalent.
• Certification/CISM/ CISSP/CCNA.
• Banking ICT related work experience, in firewalls, networks, routing & switching, server virtualization, cloud computing and information security, is a requirement.
