I.C.T. TECHNICIANS X9 – ZIMBABWE PARKS AND WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
The Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority seeks 9 Innovative, vibrant, flexible individuals to join the Information Communication Technology team as I.C.T Technicians on a permanent basis. The primary role involves the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Delivers, tags, sets up, and assists in the configuration of end-user computer hardware, software and peripherals.
- Diagnoses and resolves end-user computer, network or printer problems, e-mail, Internet and local-area network (LAN) access problems.
- Development, implementation, support and customization of ICT systems, networks and databases including information security.
- Helps install wireless access points, local area network cabling systems and equipment such as switches, convertors and VOIP handsets.
- Work as a team member in the ICT department serving as a resource person for the nationwide ICT contact center in solving ICT helpdesk issues.
Qualifications & Attributes
- The suitable candidates sought are hardworking, creative and cheerful individuals that are keen to be part of a dynamic team of individuals with excellent communication and ICT skills.
- The individual should also be willing to travel and can be posted to any Cluster office within the organization.
The candidates should have:
- A certificate or diploma from Hexco in Information Communication Technology or equivalent
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent will be an added advantage
- Excellent communication, research and presentation skills
- Knowledge of ZimParks organisational processes and I.C.T needs with some experience of working for ZimParks
- Highly proficient in the use of computers
