Key Responsibilities
- Driving Council vehicles as directed by the immediate supervisor.
- Grader and other yellow machines operation for roads construction activities.
- Grader and other yellow machines operation for roads maintenance activities.
- Ensuring that the vehicle/equipment records are maintained.
- Ensuring that pre-checks are done (oil, coolant, water, brake fluid, etc.).
- Ensuring that the vehicles/equipment are cleaned and serviced.
- Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- 5 ‘O’ Levels.
- Clean Class 2 Driver’s Licence.
- A certificate in Earth Moving Machinery, specifically for Motorized Graders and other yellow machines, is a must.
- At least 3 years of traceable and relevant experience in operating earth moving machinery (motorized grader).
