An established real estate company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our Valuation Advisory Services division. The position reports to the Managing Director. Responsibilities:
♦ Oversee the valuation and advisory portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
♦ Manage a team of valuation professionals for the valuation of property, plant, equipment, biological and other physical assets.
♦ Handle special or complex valuation assignments, leveraging advanced expertise.
♦ Ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
♦ Make convincing presentations to clients.
♦ Developing and managing key stakeholder relationships.
♦ Developing strategic plans including marketing of valuation and advisory services.
♦ Budgeting and budgetary control for the valuations function.
♦ Liaise with other functions within the company such as Property Management and Property Sales.
♦ Ensure compliance with occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:
♦ Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, or a related field. Relevant Master’s degree is an added advantage
♦ At least 5 years’ extensive experience in valuation of properties. Knowledge and experience in the valuation of plant, equipment and I or biological assets will be an added advantage.
♦ Solid understanding of industry standards.
♦ Proven track record in a managerial role, demonstrating strong leadership and team management skills.
♦ Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
♦ Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
♦ Knowledge of business strategies including marketing.
♦ Excellent financial acumen and budget management skills.
♦ Familiarity with occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations.
♦ Member of the Valuers Council of Zimbabwe.
♦ RICS registered Valuer will be an added advantage.
