Background
University of Zimbabwe College of Health Sciences – Clinical Trials Research Centre (UZCHS-CTRC) on behalf of I-TECH (International Training and Education Center for Health) is seeking highly qualified and experienced applicants to fill the position of Finance Officer. I-TECH’s activities occur primarily in the technical areas of health system strengthening; health workforce development; operations research and evaluation; prevention, care and treatment of infectious diseases. I-TECH is funded by PEPFAR through Center for Disease Control to implement HIV & TB treatment and care services in five Zimbabwean provinces in support of the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC). The contract of employment is for ten months (10) months effective 01 December 2018 to 30 September 2019 and is renewable subject to funding and satisfactory performance.

Responsibilities
Inputting and posting payments and receipts in SAGE system; Inputting routine journals in General Ledger and bank statements in SAGE; Preparing and maintaining SAGE reconciliation statements for all bank accounts; Preparing and maintaining C & T and VMMC weekly cash flows; Preparing monthly trackers and invoices for reimbursement; Processing online banking transactions; Checking and reviewing all payment requisitions; Filing reports and any other relevant documents; Performing any other duties as assigned by the Finance and Admin Manager.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Accountancy Degree, ACCA / CIMA / full CIS; Knowledge and experience with Accounting Software especially SAGE; At least 3 years’ experience.
