Field Officer

TIMB
The position will be based in Rusape, Marondera, (Chinhoyi, Bindura and Mvurwi

Overall Responsibilities
• Assisting farmers through imparting the necessary agronomy practices such as seedbed processes, fertilizer application, curing to improve on production and yield including quality of the leaf
• Facilitate the distribution of the Inputs scheme in the region
• Responsible in the recovery of loans
• Monitor adherence to schedules and statutory requirements including planting dates, destruction of stocks
• Training of farmers
• Ensuring that Afforestation programs are carried out well
Reports To Technical Officer

Qualifications
• A diploma/ degree in Agriculture
• Certificate in tobacco training

Experience
2-3 year’s relevant working
Experience.

Other Requirements
• Clean Class 3 Drivers licence is a must
• Organisational Awareness
• Conceptual Thinking
• Information Seeking
• interpersonal relationships
