Purpose of the job

• Recruiting, leading, organising, training, retaining a team of sales agents for the purpose of procuring and maintaining good quality new business.

Persons Specification

• Certificate of proficiency
• A degree or diploma in insurance, marketing, business administration, management or an equivalent qualification will vbe an added advantage
• Sales management experience of at least 3 years
• Aged between 30 and 50 years
• sales motivated with a passion for results

The job entails

• Managing a team of sales agents to achieve budgeted sales targets
• Recruiting, coaching and developing sales representatives
• Scanning the environment for opportunities
• Maintaining sound and favorable public relations with communities saved the company

Skilled required

• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Good planning, organising, leading and controlling skills
• Exceptional time management skills
• Well groomed
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer literacy (Spreadsheets, word processing and internet navigation)
