Pool Enumerators for Chimanimani, Nyanga, Beitbridge, Chipinge and Chiredzi: International Rescue Committee

The International Rescue Committee is implementing humanitarian and developmental programs in the following districts Chimanimani, Chipinge, Chiredzi, Nyanga and Chiredzi, thus we are seeking a pool of enumerators to be engaged to carry out some of the following task: registration of beneficiaries, survey data collection and data entry whenever a need arises.

Purpose and scope of the assignmentThe overall purpose of the assignments to be carried out include, registration of beneficiaries, survey data collection and data entry whenever a need arises.

Purpose of the assignmentThe Enumerator shall conduct registrations and data entry; Study and understand all instructions given in the enumerators guide and provided through the Enumerator training; Participate in registration, food/cash distributions and data entry; Assist in data collection during Baseline, Endline and Post Monitoring Distribution Surveys.

Essential qualificationsAbility to read and write; Fluent in English, Shona, Ndebele, Venda (depending on the location); Experience in data collection using Kobo Collect; Experience in working with rural communities in development work; Proficiency in Microsoft computer packages such as Excel; Ability to communicate formally in the indigenous language in the respective districts of operation

Skills and traitsAble to remain impartial and maintain confidence; Able to elicit information without leading the interviewee; Good report writing skills; Able to pay particular attention to detail; Ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct for Enumerators
