District Behavioural Change Support Officer: ZiCHIRe

The Support Officer will report to the District Behavioural Change Programme Officer.

Duties and responsibilities

Support Programme Officer in the dissemination of the demand generation programme in the district; District monitoring and evaluation of the Demand Generation program activities; Advocate with traditional and other leaders in the district on demand generation; Co-facilitate in close collaboration with the District Behavioural Change Officer in the district; Participate in monthly advocacy and support visits to all wards in the district; Oversee and support the volunteers Behavioural Change promotion activities; Co-facilitates in district level trainings; Coordinate district workshops and meetings; Make payments for specific programme costs; Assist the district Behavioural Change Programme officer to maintain financial and programme records as per UNFPA financial account, and programme rules, regulations and policies and ensure compliance; Assist in the compilation of district monthly, quarterly narrative and financial progress reports

Qualifications and Experience

5 O’ levels, a Degree in social sciences and a Master’s degree in social sciences is an added advantage. Experience working with communities. Must be computer literate, typing and writing skills.
