The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) is the local humanitarian and development organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Zimbabwe. ADRA’s core sectors include Holistic Health; Secure and Sustainable Livelihoods; Education; and Emergency Management.

Gokwe North Food Security and Agricultural Response (Go FAR 2) Project Baseline Survey JULY 2020

ADRA has been implementing the USAID/OFDA supported Go FAR Project in Gokwe North, Midlands from 2018 to 2019 in the targeted communities. The project goal was that food-insecure households in Gokwe North District, will have improved food security and resilience to extreme climatic shocks.

in Go FAR 2 (2020 to 2021}, ADRA, with funding from USAID/ OFDA, seek to improve the resilience to food insecurity for the Gokwe North communities. The project will cover 11 wards from the above mentioned Go FAR 1 and an additional 5 wards to make them 16 in total. The following sectors will be covered in Go Far 2:

1. Agriculture and Food Security
2. Economic Recovery and Market Systems
3. Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
