Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily operational matters of all ministries and projects and remaining constantly informed of all aspects of every area of operation.
  • Ensuring effective financial recordkeeping, reporting, audits and statutory compliance.
  • Preparing annual budgets, in association with the Executive Director, covering income and expenditure and ensuring approved budgets are followed.
  • Performing regular staff, volunteer and community evaluations and providing guidance.
  • Chairing weekly Apostolate, monthly Management and regular Departmental meetings.
  • Developing professional relationships with stakeholders in associated fields, public and private agencies, significant individuals, board members, and social and church organizations.
  • Preparing monthly and annual reports for the local and international Boards.
  • Developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies to mobilize financial and other resources for the organization.
  • Maintaining a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and professionalism in all administrative and leadership functions.

Requirements

  • A Master’s and/or Honours Degree in Finance, Administration, Management, Social Work, Human Resources, a Professional Course qualification, or another related field.
  • A minimum of two or more years’ experience .
  • A clean Class 4 driver’s licence .
  • Must be 35 years and above .
  • Being a practicing Catholic will be an added advantage, as the successful candidate will be a key custodian of the organization’s mission and vision.
