Livestock Officers x3: ActionAid Zimbabwe

These positions shall function collaboratively as member of the Resilience team and exists to ensure that project activities and interventions are effectively and efficiently planned, implemented and monitored in line with set project goals and objectives. Positions holder will be required to provide strong technical support and leadership in planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring and reporting of all livestock-based programming in the field.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in animal science, veterinary studies or other closely related field; Five (5) years relevant experience in general areas of animal health and production; Candidates with a requisite diploma in animal health science coupled with at least 5 years relevant experience in implementing livestock programs will also be considered; Experience in livestock value chain development and marketing will be a distinct advantage; Ability and willingness to drive a motorcycle is a must
