Project Controller

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Engineering or other relevant discipline
• 5 years Post Graduate Experience in a project environment with detailed knowledge of estimating, cost control, planning and schedule management.
• ECZ registration and/or membership of a professional engineering institution
• Experience in high valued, multi discipline project environments from inception to close out.
• PRINCE 2/ PMP certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera will be an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Forecasts final costs and the controls the budget, i.e. commitment and actuals
• Manages project trends and changes to determine legitimacy and estimated impact to project schedule and budget
• Reviews total Project and Change Notice estimates to ensure accuracy of estimated cost for the scope of work at hand
• Verify progress payments, final invoices, escalation and Forex calculations
• Reads and understands Project Schedules to ensure o true reflection of the Project progress and forecasted dates
• Liases with Project Consultant on schedules, change notices, costs and payments
