Assistant Administration Officer

Duties

The incumbent will be responsible for:

• Provide lull administration supixtrt to the HR and Administration Manager
• Maintain a proper and user friendly filling and document control system for recordin and tracking of all documents
• Put up purchase requests for all approved purchases for the necessary approvals and verify invoices for the raised purchases upon delivery of goods and services.
• Create and maintain useful databases for the department
• Perform some research duties as and when required by the HR and Administration Manager
• Assisting the HR and Administration Manager with-fleet management
• Stores management
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

 

Requirements
•A Degree/ National Diploma in Administration or equivalent from a reputable institute of higher learning

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar role preferably in Local Authorities

• Higher Computer literacy skills

• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel. Words and PowerPoint) is a must

• Pleasant personality with good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• Proactive, take initiative and well organized

• Able to work fast under pressure

• Mature with attention in detail

• Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team.
