Administrative and Logistics Officer (Maternity Replacement): Action Contre la Faim

Action Contre la Faim is a registered charity, founded in 1979. Action Contre la Faim operates to combat hunger on four fronts: nutrition, food security, health, water and sanitation. In Zimbabwe, Action Contre la Faim started operations in 2003 and has been actively involved in Water & Sanitation, Food Security and Nutrition initiatives in Midlands, Manicaland, Masvingo, Mashonaland Central and Matebeleland South provinces.
The organisation is seeking to fill the following vacancy as maternity replacement joining a small team and reporting to the Country Coordinator: Administrative and Logistics Officer
Main Duties
Financial – payments to suppliers, stakeholders and update of the cash and bankbooks with respective documents plus monthly accountancy consolidation for reporting to HQ; Human Resources – payroll administration and remittance of statutory payments; Logistics – facilities, procurement and vehicle management; Small team supervision – Driver and Cleaner
Levels of studies and experience
Diploma/ Degree in Accounting, Administration, Logistics, Purchasing & Supply Chain Management or similar; At least 2 years experience with an NGO.
Required Skills
Professionalism; Good organizer; Sense of confidentiality; Computer skills (excel and word); Good knowledge of English – spoken and written; Knowledge of SAGA, Belina
Remuneration: $15 600 per annum (gross)
