Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with drafting and reviewing basic contracts, letters, and internal documents.
  • Support legal administration by proofreading documents, maintaining the contract register, and tracking key contractual deadlines.
  • Conduct basic legal research and provide support on labour law and compliance matters.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, monitor probation periods, contract renewals, and key HR deadlines.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, and payroll administration, including preparing documentation, capturing Belina payroll inputs, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Respond to routine HR queries, assist with HR communications, and coordinate employee engagement activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR, Legal and Compliance Officer as needed.
  • Support statutory compliance by preparing documents for regulatory returns and audits, assisting with regulatory correspondence, and maintaining compliance records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) is a requirement.
  • Entry-level position requiring up to 2 years’ relevant work experience.
  • Exposure to HR administration, payroll, contracts, or legal compliance will be an added advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of Zimbabwean labour legislation will be an added advantage.
  • Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to learn HR, payroll, and compliance systems.
