Three (3) Counsellors: Family AIDS Caring Trust (FACT)

Family AIDS Caring Trust (WO 17/89) is one of the leading national organisations in HIV and TB prevention in Zimbabwe. Our vision is to ensure that we have “Communities that are healthy and free from poverty”. FACT recently secured some funding as a sub-recipient of The Union to implement the targeted screening for active TB among high risk communities. The project is being co-funded by USAID Challenge TB grant and Global Fund. The project shall cover 18 selected districts in Zimbabwe where freeTB screening and linkages to treatment shall be offered in to complement existing TB case find approaches available in the Ministry of Health and Child Care.

Counsellors should be able to work with individuals, groups and communities on TB/HIV treatment and prevention. They should be able to offer pre and post counselling to clients.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Counselling, Psychology, Social Work and a professional certification from a recognized certifying body will be an asset and preferred. 2 years minimum work experience.

The Health Promotions Officer will plan and coordinate health promotion programs for various community groups, assists health and community groups to improve the health of individuals and the community by raising awareness of healthy lifestyles, disease and disability, and other health-related issues. A special focus should be on HIV and TB.

Requirements
A Diploma or Bachelors degree in Health Promotion or Public Health with a minimum of 2 years experience.

The M&E Officer will be responsible for monitoring and evaluation of program results, track delivery against outputs, outcomes and impact as well as providing a basis for evidence-based decision making on necessary amendments and improvements on key indicators.

 

Requirements
A university degree in social sciences, development studies, statistics, economics or related field/discipline. At least 3 years work experience in planning processes, performance management, monitoring and evaluation.
