Responsible for producing final accounts, budgets, and leading Accountants and Accounts Clerks

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly budgets and variance analysis
• Reconciliation of accounts, bank statements, daily takings, payables, and receivables
• Supervision and coordination of stock counts and fixed assets registers
• Processing requisitions and petty cash accounting
• Tax Accounting
• Maintaining accounting systems and internal controls and complying with statutory requirements
• Proper filing, archiving and backing up of Accounting documents and information
• Managing Accountants and Accounts Clerks

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of a Degree in Accounting
• Relevant Professional Qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CA, ICSAZ is an added advantage
• Knowledge of Computers and PASTEL’s latest versions is essential.
• A minimum of 5 years experience at senior Accounting position
