SALES PROMOTER – Population Services International Zimbabwe (PSI/Z)

PSI/Z seeks qualified, experienced and hardworking candidates to fill in the position of Sales Promoter that has arisen in the organization. The incumbent(s) will be responsible for the following duties:

Reporting to the Sales Officer duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Negotiating for and putting up displays in the outlets to increase customer interruption points.
• Ensuring that the products get prime shelf space that guarantees maximum visibility and shelf off take.
• Ensuring that all applicable products are available and on display.
• Maintain adequate stock levels in the outlet at all times.
• Managing stocks to ensure zero product expiry.
• Communicating prices and ensuring that retailers adhere to the set prices.
• Negotiating for orders on behalf of the Sales Officer.
• Conducting demonstrations and in-store promotions.
• Putting up promotional materials in outlets as specified.
• Achieving set sales targets in outlets.
• Keeping all in-store furniture (ISF) in good order.
• Gathering information pertaining to customer perspectives or preferences and giving feedback.

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience
• 5 O’ Levels including English a prerequisite.
• Sales/Marketing Diploma or HND
• Hardworking and ability to communicate at all levels
• At least 2 years’ experience working as a Merchandiser with traceable references from a reputable well-established organization a must.
• NGO experience an added advantage.
