SUMMARY
The Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) is inviting applications from suitably qualified, mature, honest and substantially experienced person for appointment to the above challenging position which has arisen within the Organization. The applicant will be based at Head Office in Harare, reporting to the Irrigation & Rural Development Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES
I. Co-ordinating the development of rural water supply schemes
ii. Co-ordinating the development of horticultural schemes in rural areas
iii. Managing borehole drilling activities in rural villages for the Rural Horticulture Scheme across the country
iv. Setting up village-based water point committees to carry out simple borehole maintenance
v. Mobilising technical support for the maintenance of boreholes and water supply systems for the rural horticulture scheme
vi. Overseeing the coordination of the drilling operations

REQUIREMENTS
ii. Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
ii. A minimum of five years post qualifying experience in water resources management
iii. Strong interpersonal skills, people management skills and excellent leadership qualities.
iv. Most demonstrate technical competence and attributes
v. Result oriented, Innovative, Analytical and an excellent team player
vi. Ability to meet tight deadlines and to work with minimum supervision
