Relief Office Secretary 1467 views

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill in the vacancy of an office Secretary for the month of April and May 2019 at The United Methodist Church Harare East District. Applicants should be members of The United Methodist and should submit their detailed Application letter, CV and supporting documents including two (2) reference letters of which one must come from Local Pastor.

Qualifications / Experience
• 5 ‘O’ levels including English language.

• Diploma in Secretarial studies, Degree in Business Administration or related studies will be an added advantage.

• Knowledge in book keeping.

• Knowledge of Word and Excel.

• At least 2 years relevant experience in a professional institution.

• Can communicate fluently in both Shona and English.

Duties / Responsibilities
• Maintaining the District Superintendent’s diary

• Typing and handling all District correspondence

• Receiving, recording and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail to relevant committees, boards and pastors

. • Attending to visitors and telephone calls.

• Organizing meetings for respective committees and boards.

• Requesting stationery and office consumables.

• Receiving bank remittances from circuits for finance records and updating finance records.

• Any other duties as may be assigned by the District Superintendent.
