Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and recover overdue and non-performing loans.
  • Engage clients, guarantors and other stakeholders to secure repayments.
  • Negotiate repayment arrangements and settlements with defaulting borrowers.
  • Conduct field visits, skip tracing and investigations on delinquent accounts.
  • Initiate and monitor legal recovery processes where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate recovery records and prepare recovery reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and recovery procedures.
  • Contribute to the achievement of recovery targets and reduction of portfolio at risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Risk Management, Law, Economics or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in recoveries, collections, credit control, microfinance, banking, or related financial services.
  • Experience in legal recoveries and debt collection will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Zimbabwean lending and debt recovery practices.
