PROCUREMENT OFFICER

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill a vacancy that has arisen within a Sports Club from one of our clients.

Main Duties

• Procurement of quality goods and services according to user specification and procurement regulation.• Manages and develops competent suppliers through sound relationships and performance monitoring.• Sends official authorised orders to suppliers.• Follow up and expedite ordered goods.• Files hard copies of all procurement documents in the section.• Recommends to the Manager of any potential vendors on the market.• Conducting procurement research and adopting the best procurement method available.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate should have:

• Diploma in Purchasing & Supply.• At least two years’ experience in the hospitality product purchasing• Drivers License

Skills & Competences• Outstanding Interpersonal and communication skills• Good negotiating Skills• Good planning and organizing skills• Sound knowledge of principles and practices of public procurement and supply chain management• High level of confidentiality• Computer literacy
