Procurement Assistant

Term of Employment: Contract

We are looking for the services of a Procurement Assistant responsible for supporting procurement operations. The incumbent shall ensure that all procurement operations are successful in both satisfying customer needs as well as meeting the goals set by management.

The ideal incumbent should hold a Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Purchasing & Supply/ CIPS (Level 3) with a minimum of one (1) year’s experience.

Requirements:

• Research and develop a competitive supply chain strategy
• Ability to manage supplier relationships
• Sourcing for quotations, and selecting the best option
• Supplier due diligence & strong negotiations skills.
• Coordinate with internal and external customers on order fulfilment
• Must be able to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively orally and in writing
• Good interpersonal relationships – demonstrate skills in building and maintaining productive relations with key stakeholders.
• Fully operational knowledge of imports, customs and shipping procedures/ laws.
• Clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence a must.
