KEY RESULT AREAS

Keeping up to date with procurement policy, processes and legislation and building knowledge of the business and supplier markets. Explore business opportunities and contribute to the development of procurement strategic, and supply arrangements Provide reports, analyses and advice to Support procurement decision making Validate stakeholder business needs, compile and source market information, and assist in analyzing markets and assessing risk to inform procurement planning and sourcing decisions Conducts sourcing activities in accordance with established policies and procedures to meet business needs and participates in negotiating to establish and review supply arrangements that will deliver, value for money procurement outcomes Provides advice, information and guidance on procurement related matters to user departments to provide governance and support good practices in procurement Identifies, mitigates and escalates procurement risks to enable the organisation to meet its obligations and maximize business opportunity Performance Management in the context of IRBM

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• University degree in Supply Chain Management/Procurement
• At least five (5) years post qualifying experience, at middle management level.
• Post graduate qualification in Management (e.g MBA, MBL, or Msc) or Diploma CIPS will be an added advantage.
• A clean class four driver’s’ license is a must.A competitive salary commensurate with the post and other benefits will be disclosed to successful candidates.
