Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate collaborative interdisciplinary research projects among faculty, students and partners.
- Contribute to developing proposals for funding to sustain climate related research initiatives.
- Design and deliver a Master’s level module related to climate change, sustainability, or a relevant specialised field.
- Develop and lead specialised training and capacity-building workshops or short courses for graduate students, faculty and partners.
- Provide research and professional guidance to a selected number of graduate and/or undergraduate students.
- Translate research findings into accessible formats (for example, Policy briefs, op-eds) for policymakers, media and the public.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by Director.
Requirements
- Applicants should have at least a Ph.D. in relevant field (e.g. Climate, Environmental Studies, Policy, Engineering, Economics, Social Sciences with a focus on climate) awarded no more than 5 years prior to the start date.
- A demonstrated record of high-quality peer reviewed publications commensurate with the applicant’s career stage.
- Proven experience working effectively across disciplines and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated ability to present complex information to academic, policy and public audiences.
- Demonstrate organisational and coordination skills to manage complex, multi-faceted projects.
