Job Purpose

Cassava Smartech is looking for a versatile, energetic and dynamic Operations Officer to join the On Demand Services Team. The main purpose of the position is to carry out operational tasks and functions of the On Demand Services passenger mobility section effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

• Commercial Degree or equivalent
• A professional qualification is an added advantage
• 2– 4 years’ experience in a similar or related environment
• Must have strong analytical skills
• Possess excellent leadership skills.

Key Result Areas

• Ensures driver registration to activation process is completed within set guidelines
• Tracks transactions completed per business daily, weekly and monthly in line with the business plan
• Monitors competitor activities and initiates activities which give business competitive edge
• Analyses volume, spend, usage patterns and delivery trends performance against set targets
• Prepares and makes product presentations to prospective customers
• Implements plans to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency
• Analyzes and maintains operational data and makes recommendations to the Operations Manager
• Receives and verifies the details of partner payment schedules to confirm accuracy and resolves partner payment queries
• Coordinates with service providers for provision of operational inputs; partner fuel cards, partner vehicle trackers
• Supports Corporate customer vehicle requirements by allocating partners to customer areas of need
• Allocates Vaya Express assets to Vaya Partners
• Carries out daily company administrative processes and procedures.
