Merchant Services Coordinator 1638 views

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following position that has arisen in Harare within a reputable commercial bank.

Responsibilities 

• Configuration and Maintenance of POS Devices in liaison with ICT and E-Banking Departments.
• Deployment of POS Devices.
• Liaising with merchants, marketing and e-banking to ensure deployment of configured POS Devices.
• Ensuring that all revenue for Merchant POS is collected.
• Ensuring that all POS machines are in good use and are giving the Bank the much needed revenue.
• Visiting all merchants throughout the country monitoring the POS machines.
• Providing after sales services and product support services to our Merchants in liaison with Sales Agents.
•  Conduct continuous training to merchants.
• Prepare weekly POS deployment and merchant visit call reports.
• Ensuring that merchant agreement forms and installation records are fully completed.
• Maintain POS asset register.

Qualifications, Experience and Person Specification 

The ideas candidates should be in possession of the following:

• An Honours Degree in Information Systems /Business Studies & Computer Science /Banking & Finance
• Knowledge and experience of ICT systems preferably in a banking environment
• Appreciation of Merchant/ Agency Banking
• must be customer centric
• Clean Class 4 Drivers Licence
