Job Title: IT Helpdesk Support

Compulink Systems (Private) Limited a privately owned information communication technology company headquartered in Harare, Zimbabwe is looking to add to their professional team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Honours Degree in Information Technology or a related field

• Master’s Degree is an added advantage

Certifications:

Cisco Certified Network Associate | Cisco Certified Network Professional | Hewlett Packard Enterprise | Microsoft 365 Certified | CompTIA A+ | ITIL 4 Foundation | Forcepoint | Palo Alto

KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

• Minimum 3 years work experience

• Strong technical proficiency in systems engineering and IT infrastructure

• Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize systems and networks

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Effective communication and documentation abilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Systems & Infrastructure Management: Oversee, maintain, and optimize all systems, servers, and infrastructure for high availability and performance. Manage AD, Windows Servers, and support system design and implementation.

• Network & Security Management: Configure and monitor firewalls (Forcepoint, Palo Alto), enforce network security and redundancy, support upgrades, and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.

• Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance, resolve 2nd/3rd level incidents, escalate complex issues as needed, and ensure proactive maintenance to prevent downtime.

• Automation & Efficiency: Develop scripts and implement automation to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual tasks.

• Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for timely issue resolution and align local systems with global IT standards.
