Information Technology Risk Analyst 864 views

A leading financial institution is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following position.

BASIC FUNCTION

Reporting to the Risk Manager, the Incumbent drives risk identification and awareness programs in all areas of technology operations ensuring that risk is effectively managed in accordance with the bank’s strategy and best practices.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES OF THE JOB

• Conducts investigations on possible security violations
• Surveillance and monitoring of the computing environment
• Assesses potential items of risks and vulnerability in the network and information technology infrastructure and applications
• Manages the oversight of technical risk assessments
• Assists in the development of security policies and procedures
• Provides guidance on business continuity and disaster recovery design and implementation
• Performs deep dives on IT security-related processes and systems
• Assists in the development of IT risk remediation strategies
• Monitors and reports resolution of IT risk issues
• Develops, tracks, and reports on key risk indicators (KRIs) for information technology
• Advise management on technology trends and initiatives
• Develops and delivers IT risk, security awareness and training programs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
• Certification in Systems Security
• 5 years experience in IT Audit, Cyber Security and/or IT Compliance experience
