Human Resource And Training Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

• Implements Human Resource strategies, policies, and procedures;

• Manages Petrotrade’s recruitment, selection, and employee transfer and exit processes and ensures that all departments and sections are adequately staffed;

• Oversees the Petrotrade performance appraisal system;

• Develops and implements an efficient and effective employee reward system;

• Provides welfare support to employees;

• Advises line management on industrial relations and best practice in employee discipline;• Interprets Human Resource data for key people decisions;

• Coordinates the activities of workers committees and works council;

• Manages and maintains all staff records;

• Develops, implements and maintains Petrotrade’s training

• Designs and implements in-house training programmes

• Develops and implements annual training plan and other staff training.

• Oversees the learner-ship and development programs of graduate trainees

Qualifications and Experience

Person Specification
• A minimum of a Social Science Degree, Human Resource Management or equivalent;
• IPMZ Labour or Training Diploma or equivalent is a must.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management an advantage.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Human Resource Management and/ or labour Relations, 1 year of which should be in a key Human Resource policy implementing position.
• Good data analytical skills
• Sound Computer skills
• Experience in processing personnel transactions in an enterprise resource planning system (ERP)
• Clean Class 4 Driver’s licence
