Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting Management with Performance Management Systems
  • Overseeing recruitment and selection
  • Handling Disciplinary and Grievances procedures
  • Planning, guiding and supervision of staff in the Administration Department
  • Overseeing and managing of Council assets, Transport and Security
  • Maintenance of staff records and payroll administration.
  • Promotion of a harmonious Industrial Relations climate through implementing the CBA
  • Advising Council on labour issues.
  • Managing of Council minutes.
  • Maintain and updating of Council resolution book.
  • Preparation and Distribution of agendas for Council meetings.
  • Developing and implementing HR strategies.
  • Overseeing staff benefits and payroll processes.

Requirements

  • A Degree in Social Science from a recognised University.
  • A professional qualification in Human Resources Management a pre-requisite
  • At least three (3) years post qualification experience. Local Government experience is an added advantage
  • A relevant Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
  • Computer literacy, report writing and communication skills.
  • A clean Class 4 driver’s licence a must
  • At least 30 years and mature
  • A citizen of Zimbabwe
  • No criminal record.
